3. I remember crying on the phone, pleading with Bill Gates foundation.
they were the richest people I knew of up here in the NW, begging them to rent or buy a helicopter, fly over and give or even throw water to people. I never heard if they did anything. That was the moment I knew I had to come, had to donate what I could, had to realize that our gvt will not help, we are on our own, helping each other. Water the bushes indeed.
