In truth, while my attempt at humor may label me a sick puppy, I am a cat person (and a fancier if you want to go that far).

I still have not read the originating article. I DON'T want to go there. It doesn't matter if one is frying puppies, kittens or chickens, but the chicken parts are assumed to be butchered (already dead) before the frying process. I gather that some of these kittens might still be alive. Some people just don't know when to stop and I don't want to believe it.

My comment was crude and in poor taste, but it was an honest reaction to the postings on this board. Micacca. (There I go again.)

And lets be fair, how many of us who are horrified eat meat? Vegetarians question why "meaters" get upset about cats or dogs being food but cheerfully eat livestock, fowl and creatures from the sea.


In the interest of fairness, I am NOT a vegetarian, but recognize my own hypocrisy in thinking of some animals as pets and others as food.
