Federal judge orders end to wiretap program

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/14393611

DETROIT - A federal judge ruled Thursday that the government’s warrantless wiretapping program is unconstitutional and ordered an immediate halt to it. The White House said it “couldn't disagree” more with the ruling.

U.S. District Judge Anna Diggs Taylor in Detroit became the first judge to strike down the National Security Agency’s program, which she says violates the rights to free speech and privacy as well as the separation of powers enshrined in the Constitution.

“Plaintiffs have prevailed, and the public interest is clear, in this matter. It is the upholding of our Constitution,” Taylor wrote in her 43-page opinion.

1. Oh sure - it will be discussed right after Kerry's speech to Firefighters
where he attacks the swifts, and before the Downing Street Memos.

8. ABC ran 7 minutes of JBR, then 2 minutes of Wiretapping.
I was specifically watching for order and timing.

2. There was one little episode...
...where Jack Cafferty ripped off Bush's head and shit down his neck, from the sound of it. Unfortunately, I missed it but it was being discussed here:

3. If only there was a BJ involved....
the media would cover the teeny story of

the courts finding that the President of the United States has been breaking the law and committing high crimes against the Constitution.
