Camp Democracy will be held on the National Mall in Washington, D.C., from September 5 to 21.
This will be a camp for peace, democracy, and the restoration of the rule of law.
Camp Casey will move from Crawford, Texas, to Washington to create a larger camp focused
not only on ending the war but also on righting injustices here at home and on holding
accountable the Bush Administration and Congress.

Your travel to Camp Democracy is part of the camp and should be a community-building experience.

Something wicked is coming indeed, and that something is the America we are left with
after six years of being neoconned into a corner, mugged, robbed and pillaged.
I am absolutely furious over what Bushco has done to our country and what is happening
in the world today thanks to the fucked up leadership coming out of Washington DC.
And I am totally enraged by the raping and looting of America by George Bush and his
army of neocon psychopaths! I know that I'm not alone in this - I've heard your thoughts.
I've read your diaries and comments. I know that many of you have wrung your hands,
just as I have, and asked yourselves endlessly could you not have done more to stop it?
Or why hasn't somebody else stopped it?

Or why the fuck won't someone just please make it stop?

Well, I say it's time to kick a little ass brothers and sisters!

Nobody can do this for us. We have to do this for ourselves.
