I have a friend who was at LAX when the fit hit the shan

She was standing in line (US Air) with her carry-on when a TSA person came out with a bullhorn and told everyone to stand where they were and to put their bags on the ground.

The TSA morons then proceeded to work each line, 3 guards at a time per passenger. Two would stand by the passenger while the third moron searched the passenger's bags.

They were taking all kinds of stuff. No one was allowed to go back to the counter and check their bags.

My friend lost over $400 worth of moisturizers and make-up. But they left her toothpaste and hand lotion.

I'll bet them gals at TSA are wearing some fine make-up tonight.

Oh yeah, before anyone here goes all weird about someone having that kind of expensive make-up...

The delay also caused her to miss a critical appointment with her oncologist.

They should have been given the option of going back and checking their bags.

That was theft.
