12. Sadly, we agree.

I am no fan of all Israel does/has done. But I find it amazing that so many want to find the truth if it fits what they want to know only.

The excuse I can hear now is clear as day - 'So it was wrong, many others were right' - which belies the fact that people are not looking for truth but for confirmation of their bias. See the blogs on the green helmet guy and how he seems to pop up in a lot of these pics?

Sure, war is hell and sadly innocents die. But if we are going to bitch about it, let's at least get the facts straight and investigate as hard as we do on other things. Hell, we have a whole forum on 9/11 and people are always trying to find ways to show that the whole thing was a lie (because they want it to hurt bush) - maybe hizbollah is just as bad and lying out their ass. But we won't know because people don't want to seek truth, they want to seek confirmation of bias.

I have posted threads both pro and con Israel's recent actions. I just want to see the whole story, and not have people tell me how right I am.

The explanation they give for the mistake is also so completely illogical and void of real legitimacy. There is no excuse for this sort of thing to happen and they really need to start tightening the screws on their editors.
