| MO requires photo ID to vote in November...possible |
|
solutions, IMHO...
Where I work we all have picture IDs that we use as swipe cards. College students also have photo IDs. Why wont states accept a work ID or a college ID as valid ID? In order to get a job in the US you have to have a social security card, so a work ID should be valid as should a college ID.
Channel 4 just said that approx. 200k Missourians lack a photo ID. I know that not all 200k have a work ID but some do and that would help those people in voting in November.
My solution for older people and others who lack a photo ID but are on Medicare or Medicaid..why not allow them to use their Medicare or Medicaid cards and a bill with their home address on it as proof of who they are and where they live?
I didn't have any form of state ID for a long time and was still able to vote using a work ID and s bill with my address.
