We've seen a major uptick in "revelations" and much zenophobic fear mongering since LIEberman was defeated in the primary. Is it possible they are, yet again, using these incidents as a pretext for Martial Law? Anybody suppose a "major terrorist' attack within the continental might occur before Nov?

They're already ramping up the "Iran is involved in Lebanon" rhetoric. Plus, they're eager to push through legislation in the Senate that will allow the US to trade nuclear technology with India (which will piss off Pakistan and throw more gasoline on an already white hot fire of unrest in the Middle East).
