Truth with a small "t"-- but still-- August 9th, 2006 broadcast;

DOBBS: Incompetence and ineptitude on the part of this government on September 11th and in the weeks and months leading up to it are established. The fact that the government would permit deception after a deception, whether honestly, if you can call it that, honestly intended or not. But the fact that they were continue and perpetuate the lie, suggests that we need a full investigation of what is going on and what is demonstrably an incompetent and at worst deceitful federal government.

i can't believe how much these warmongers have disrupted travel and news coverage of anything going on in Lebanon and Iraq with this bullshit. Let me just say this: When the blow-back against our foreign policy and what we and Israel have done in Iraq and Lebanon, we won't be able to stop it and we won't know about it until it hits.

My mind is just going over the last arrests in the UK over "alleged terror plots." Wasn't everyone released and there was no plot?

but blaming the "federal govt" is just like Reagan, blaming the beaurocracy (sp?) when it is really certain individuals, administration policies, and the whitehouse who are the incompetents and liars. Not the WHOLE FEDERAL GOVT. This is just another way that they mis-direct blame, and completely ignore the real culprits. As John Dean says in "Conservatives Without Conscience", they point to (the results of) their own incompetence to argue that they need even more power and control. Here, Lou has missed the target on purpose in order to paint the ENTIRE Govt. as the problem, when the real problem lies in the whitehouse and the GOP, Thus evenning the playing field for the upcoming elections. If they can convince everyone that it not just the repukes who are the incompetents and liars, voters will become confused and disheartened, and we'll probably see a shift away from incumbents, but not the needed shift away from the GOP and the Dumbya Gang.
