crooked teeth. my parents were divorced and there was no money for braces or even basic dental work. i lost a lot of teeth to decay. when i got older and could afford it i changed my whole smile, with crowns, etc. right now i have 9 implants and a 10th that i'm going to have done soon. i have invested about $60,000 in my mouth. so needless to say i'm fanatical about brushing and flossing. cost me $139 for a sonic toothbrush. lol

with my expensive teeth and the antichrist. i didn't spend it all at once. it was over a 10 year period. my husband just says "whatever you're gonna have done, do it while i'm still working". he's almost 59. BTW some insurance companies are now covering implants. not the whole amount -- but a good chunk. for a while i was maxed out on lifetime dental insurance -- then they changed the plan. now i can spend $2,000 a year which is the cost of one implant crown.

her modeling career, you never saw her smiling...that is not smiling showing her teeth. Then one day I read an interview in one of the magazines (Glamour I think) and found out why. She also had a crooked nose and certain other "defects" that had to be fixed with makeup and lighting.

As for Condi, I cannot for the life of me understand why she hasn't fixed her teeth by now. Its not a little gap like Madonna's.

8. Dentists have little perfect false teeth that fit over your

regular imperfect teeth so that they look even. Some actresses who don't want to go through the bonding or capping thing use them. I assume that's what she got or maybe she's even getting them capped and is using them until the job is done.

I had a very large gap in my front teeth until I was in my '40s. I finally had it fixed, but I was very self-conscious about it, which she probably is also. I have no love for Condi, but I don't think that imperfection should constantly be pointed out.

I knew a lovely girl in her 30's that worked at the front desk at a hotel chain. She had the most awful teeth and it was the first thing you saw when she smiled, but was a single mom and $$ were short. She finally got them fixed with a little financial help from folks that cared enough to help her.

It boosted her self-esteem immensely.

But Condi could certainly afford dental work any day of the week.
