...holding prisoners indefinitely, no charges and no trial? It is hard to see any on this issue.
AG Gonzales says we may hold prisoners "indefinitely."
How can the impact of such a statement be lost upon any American when we have been the standard bearer for the rest of the world regarding human rights until Bush took over?
Any Karen Hughes can fly all over the world in an attempt to improve the US reputation with other countries, but you just cannot square a policy like this with platitudes that we stand for freedom and democracy.
