Look Santorum is doing everything to ride out this race and he knows it will be a disaster... for him. So, not only is he NOT leaving the race, but he is enlisting the help of a Green to try in a miserable attempt to keep his seat.
I mean, you have Republicans who don't heed those warnings that America's political climate is changing and then put people at risk as a result of not heeding those warnings. So there may be a need to look at tougher penalties, candidly, on those who decide to ride it out and understand that there are consequences to not leaving.
