"President's only restful summer stay at the ranch was his first one"
"in 2001"

http://www.usatoday.com/printedition/news/20060803/a_bu...

The president's only restful summer stay at the ranch was his first one, the month before 9/11.

They don't understand the definition of work, he responded to critics of his time away at an Aug. 8, 2001, news conference. I'm getting a lot done. Secondly, you don't have to be in Washington to work. It's amazing what can happen with telephones and faxes.

All together now...BOO-FUCKING-HOO, asshole.

1. I've Got An Idea:
Why don't we give him a nice, long stay at the ranch starting in 2007? Impeach his sorry ass!

I don't know about you, but if I'd gotten a briefing like that, I wouldn't have had a restful stay on the ranch in 2001 either.

That said, if I were President, I wouldn't be taking a month's vacation, either.

But that's just me.

9. I think you are being quite generous with your estimate of the time he
devotes to his job. I'm pretty sure it's more like 24 MINUTES a day, 7 days a year.

LOL!
Perhaps you are correct. I figure he at least spends that much time in meetings, though. Even though, of course, he has no idea what's going on, and has no part in a single decision being made.

to be done during his trips to the bathroom, no doubt.

15. Yep...the victims/survivors had a lot "lasts" that year, also
A hell of a lot more than chimpass...last birthdays/holidays/hugs/happy memories (ditto goes for the troops he deployed in 2001)..a LOT more important/heartbreaking than his last "restful summer".

13. wow, what a telling statement about how little he cares about others.
"me, me, me"

Maybe if he'd actually been working we wouldn't have this spiriling hell hole that is life in bush's dream world.
