18,777 wounded, 5,120 Iraqi police/security folks killed (God only knows how many wounded!), and that's without even trying to figure out the civilian costs. For the types to whom the civilian figures are starting to become a terrible blur, the fact that there's a minimum of 26,500 military casualties on one side alone - assuming no Iraqi police or troops are "merely" wounded! - in this is telling.
