| World War Two -vs- Iraq 2003 Invasion.... |
|
Edited on Wed Aug-02-06 11:30 PM by rsmith6621
Fact#1 The US got involved into WW2 on 12/7/1941 and had Japan signing surrender papers on August 15, 1945.
Fact#2 The US invaded Iraq on March 19th,2003 and as of today there is no reasonable end in sight....
Fact#1 took 3 years 292 days to finish....
Fact#2 has lasted 3 years 163 days and still there is no exit plan,no clear mission, no victory in sight and certianly there will not be documents of surrender when its all over.
I thought that this would be interesting to show you....

| 2. I would more equate Mar. 19 '03 with Sept. 1 '39, |
|
which marked the beginning of another cabal of militaristic fanatics' attempt to remake a continent by force.
(Of course, it's probably not fair to equate Bush and Hitler; the Shrub really reminds me more of Mussolini.)

| 4. Bush is more like Mo from the Three Stooges! |
|
He thinks starting a war is nothing more than a slap-stick frat prank!
I take your point though, why does it take a superpower longer to hunt down "the terrorists of 9-11" than it took to defeat the Axis Powers of WWII?
I'm also fascinated that the CIA's get Bin Laden squad was recently disbanded.
There is so much food for thought regarding what really happened on 9-11.
