6. Well then that poll would just be 100% voting all of the above
which is what we would all love--but the purpose of this poll is to find out which of them is the most offensive to DUers.

5. I voted for Santorum
but your poll is serious screwed. Taft is the Governor, not a Senator, and in Missouri there is no Senator Holden. I believe it's Talent and Bond.

8. Correction about Ohio
Taft is the Governor and is not up for re-election.

DeWine is the Senator running against Sherrod Brown!

24. I would have voted DeWine of Ohio
Edited on Wed Aug-02-06 05:47 PM by merci_me
and not just because I adore Sherrod Brown......but the Taft thing confused me. I've been living in Texas for a looooooong time, and I thought something must have happened in Ohio.

I thought DeWine withdrew and they named Taft to replace him. Well, dumber stuff has happened, LOL. So I voted Santorum which is also as good, but my #1 pick for winner is Sherrod. I'm in Texas now, where we're playing the Tom DeLay waiting game, of is he or isn't he on the ballot and if not, who replaces him?

26. I voted Kyl for a very good reason.
That is this...

If Kyl loses to Pederson, there will have been a huge nationwide Democratic Party sweep. It'll mean that we not only took back the House and the Senate, but that we have established the Democratic Party as the clear majority of the nation. It will mean a clear and unmistakable rejection of the Repug agenda. It will mean a GOP in utter tatters which may very well give Republicans like Chuck Hagel, Arlen Spector, and other true moderates a chance to sieze control of the Republican leadership away from the Repug lunatics.

One can hope.
