All Israel/Hezbollah ALL THE TIME on Cables..What about US?
There's a terrible heatwave where folks are dying in the US and those who aren't dying are using "credit cards" to pay for the "A/C" bills to keep their elderly and children from suffering.

People are DYING all over the WORLD ..Tsunami in Asia and Heat Wave in US and Europe....yet...there's so LITTLE COVERAGE of the suffering...And what about DAFUR?

Why is it all about the NeoCon's plans that it crowds out every concern we have on earth that people have in COMMON....Global Warming and Global Insecurity...due to BLAIR/BUSH and CORPORATISTS who only care about "making money" and continuing their INFLUENCE over ALL OF US...HERE IN US and EVERYWHERE!

WHEN WILL IT STOP?

1. What about our troops in Iraq and Afghanistan??
They should be the top story on the news every day. Tell us how they are. Tell us how many have died today and how many were injured. Shame on the media once again. Some of us have loved ones over in one of George's Wars and we NEED information.

2. You are both right.

The media should give us ALL the news,
not just focus on one story 24/7.

4. Haditha, "poof". Abu Sifa, "poof". NSA spying, "poof".
ignoring the laws, almost 800 of them, "poof". Chemical weapons in Fallujah, "poof". How convenient for the chimpster that the news is now Israel/Lebanon 24/7.

5. I was just thinking about this.
And given day in Iraq is considerably worse than any day in Israel and Lebanon combined.

7. Iraq seems to be off their "radar" at the moment while they plot WWIII
or whatever else the NeoCons have dreamed up for us along with the Corporations who own our Media.

I had to go over to CNBC (CorporateNetworkBullshitCo.) and it was Kudlow talking about "HOW GREAT AMERICA IS! ISN'T AMERICA GREAT...we can get through Terra Attacks and Eruptions in the ME" but...HEY "Isn't Our Economy Great! Holding up with price Increases at the Gas Pumps and Bad News on Housing but the Consumer has Confidence in Bush and they are still spending"

CNBC cut's now onto Manny, Moe and (whatever the third one was), who will report HOW GREAT THE RESILIANCE OF THE AMERICAN ECONOMY IS!

Okay let's go back to our "Topic for Tonight" which is this "Great American Economy just going Gangbusters...how can it get any better than this?"

Ugh!

6. The coverage is deliberate
Iraq was destroying Bush's poll numbers.
Now, conveniently in an election year, it's completely off the news.

8. The situation in the Middle East is extremely important right now
and, perhps more importanly for a news story, it is a dynamic situation, changing rapidly, so frequent updates are needed as things change. A hell of a lot rests on how the ME crisis is resolved - the fate of nations. None of this is to say that the things you mention aren't important, but the ME crisis is really the biggest show on Earth right now.
