Is John Dean still married to Maureen..? She was his wife during Watergate
in the 70's and I think, up until the late 80's or perhaps early 90's. I've googled but haven't found anything later... Just curious as a Watergate buff who watched all the hearing during college days.

1. I got the impression from his book that he is. He spoke about Maureen
quite extensively in relation to how he got involved with politics again. I didn't catch anything specifically stating he wasn't married to her any longer.

I am always happy when I see a relationship stand the tests of time.

4. he was on a radio program
on AAR and mentioned his wife "Mo" so I'm assuming they still are. She was such a classy lady, I'd love to see her now. I didn't know until I read Dean's book how G. Gordon Liddy told horrendous lies about her and a friend and someone wrote a book. The Dean's sued and won.

6. According to expose books
written about Watergate, she was a retired call girl whose clientele involved people at the highest levels...

that's why the bun in her hair was so ironic...the TV and media people used to allude toit all the time while he was testifying.

Boy was that stuff gripping in those days...

7. Those were, of course,
fully discredited. Mr. Dean deals with that nonsense in his new book.

8. Fully disredited by him...
don't get me wrong...I like his take on politics lately...but that Watergate story was a whole lot more complex than anyone would allude to in public. Why do you think they didn't prosecute Nixon? Ho ho ho.

9. Cool! They must have been married back in about '72....
as I recall. John Wesley Dean's III's Watergate testimony took place in '73. So they must have been married 33 or 34 years now.

Wonder if Mo is..... "still getting it done," these days?
