Maliki parrots Bush and says Iraq becomes central front of war on terror
http://english.people.com.cn/200607/27/eng20060727_287080.html

Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al- Maliki, addressing a joint session of the U.S. Congress on Wednesday, said that Iraq has become the front line of the war on terror and his country is determined to defeat the sectarian violence.

"Iraq is the front line in this struggle, and history will prove that the sacrifices of Iraqis for freedom will not be in vain," Maliki said.

"The fate of our country and yours is tied. Should democracy be allowed to fail in Iraq and terror permitted to triumph, then the war on terror will never be won elsewhere," Maliki said.

"Iraq and America both need each other to defeat the terror engulfing the free world. In partnership, we will be triumphant, because we will never be slaves to terror, for God has made us free," Maliki said.

1. It's obvious BushStaff wrote his speech
that goes without saying. That the press would point this out is a surprise. Kudos.

2. Looks like it's the People's Daily Press
Not our "free" American press.
