For some reason, I don't feel as angry about all of this
Okay, don't get me wrong. I'm still very much dismayed about the current situation in the country, but lately, I've just been very mellow. I haven't been angry. I haven't been all "changing the world"-ish. And I guess I miss that. But then again, I kinda don't. I think I need a break from politics. The 2 weeks I was at camp were amazing, because, we were all friends, whether or not we were democrats or republicans (or, more rather, our parents). Plus, in less than a month, I start high school, so I need to concentrate on that.

But I do kind of miss the vigor and exitement i had when I made the "republicanhottie" comics. Now, when I make them, I feel like i have an obligation to. No emotion goes into them anymore and it shows. That's why they aren't as funny anymore and no one comments/notices them (& i don't blame em). I just don't know what to do. Bleh...

8. Very funny title & some good gags...
I like the last one best.

I'd rather see you draw them free hand- you can scan them into paintshop just the same. The staight up computer art is sloppy & a little 5th grade- but hilarious title & concept.

9. yeah, im thinking for the next one
i'll draw it freehand and scan it at a friends house (i don't have a scanner). my freehand ones are so much better (though their still stick figures...I could draw them not as stick figures but it would take longer and fill up the frames more*).

*not enough room for text.

10. yeah- but you should still color w/ the paint shop...
Scan your pics, color w/ paintshop....

But I'll bet you already knew that...

Keep at it kiddo- some of those are kinda funny. I do adventure comics w/ photoshop in my spare time- I'll probably put them up sooner or later...

4. Yeah, that's probably it
The mellowness of summer. And not being around this one girl, who's really liberal and fired up 24/7. Probably by november I'll be back into the swing of things, just in time for the elections that are everywhere else but where I live! Yay! :)

5. It's OK to take a break and enjoy life.
You'll get energized about politics again when you need to.

6. Yeah, I guess so
I come from a very political family (and by that I mean very interested in politics; not politicians themselves) so it's bound to happen...

7. I get more and more depressed everyday. I can't shake it and I am
sick and tired of it! But you are young and you really don't need to think about all of this. You need to be young and have fun.

do something different.

You may surprised at how deciding to stop something sometimes motivates you to continue with more passion than before.
