C&L:Cafferty on Iraq: Sub Human Nightmare
Cafferty had a few choice words for Iraq. Yes, oh mighty media-we are still there– if you’ve forgotten already.

http://www.crooksandliars.com/posts/2006/07/22/cafferty-on-iraq-sub-human-nightmare/

Cafferty: While the media remains mesmerized by the fighting in Israel and Lebanon, more than a hundred people a day are being killed in Iraq…

Wolf: It is simply horrendous, the slaughter, the bloodshed that’s continuing even as we monitor by enlarge what’s happening elsewhere in the Middle East.

Cafferty: What’s our plan? Do we have one for dealing with this? I mean it’s degenerating into some sort of sub human nightmare.

1. Stating the obvious never hurts
but in the end...so what? Of course, Jack and Wolfie can just come back with "We're just journalists telling you the story-problem-solving isn't in the job description."

2. When is this nation going to learn...
not to fuck with other countries that are highly volatile?

We should seriously consider the idea of a Star Trek-like "prime directive" to not interfere in other cultures until they have resolved their barbarism themselves. Oh, I forgot, the only reason we care about this part of the world is the oil, not the blood that continues to be shed.

3. Completely off the radar ...
... Afghanistan.

Add that to the cesspool of U.S. involvement.

4. Hey, what about the GOOD NEWS!?
It looks like the US is only going to lost a Company of soldiers this month. We usually lose a small battalion.

5. I'm surprised CNN lets Jack stay on the air, and even have his own
show on Sat & Sun. I heard him in a interview somewhere and he said he is NOT partisan at all, and slams all sides equally when they're stupid!

He really has had the toughest words against Shrub and the Songress of anyone on the TV!
