Tehran, 18 July (AKI) - Iranian parliamet speaker Gholam Ali Hadad Adel told an anti-Israel rally in Tehran on Tuesday that the current fighting in Lebanon was just the beginning of a wider regional conflict. "The war has only just begun, today is the day of resistance, today is the day of the liberation of Palestine, there will be no safe place from Hezbollah's attacks in the occupied land (Israel)," he said. A member of the Abadgaran party of president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the official also said Iran will give all possible aid to Lebanon and compared the leader of the Shiite militant group Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah to the leader of the Iranian revolution, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini.

2. How do we know this isn't total propaganda being fed to us by our lying
media?

Think about it. Our media outlets have been taken hostage by the war mongers so why is this surprising they would be saying all these things to fuel the fire?

Looks to me like just more LIES LIES LIES.......

6. Because
I've heard it from Farsi language sites and sites that come directly from Islamic Republic like IRNA time and time again. This is far from propaganda.

11. More likely that it's total propaganda being fed to the Iranians
More likely that it's total propaganda being fed to the Iranian people by their incompetent politicians and their lying media.

If Israel wants to invade Lebanon, whether for good or bad reasons is irrelevant, Iran can't do squat about it. For the same reasons Iran is not at this time a threat to the US, she is not at this time a serious threat to Israel. She can give Hezbollah money and weapons and all Hezbollah can do is be a major nuisance, but they are not going to drive Israel into the sea.

5. Sadly NO
We have cuckoo leaders nowadays.

Statements of this sort plenty.

No much different from the US congress and senate passing resolution for regime change in Iran or countries the admin dont like.

All they have to do is paint those country as demon.

So bottomline.

Mad leaders get mad followers.

One flew over the cuckoo nest.

7. The Iranian leaders couldn't possibly be that dumb. Please

9. There won't be any US Vs. Iran war imo, it's not going to happen
Edited on Thu Jul-20-06 08:18 PM by chimpsrsmarter
no matter how much the neocons want it, the Merikan people are firmly against it and imo it's largely due to the war in Iraq, i think a good majority of people in this country have had their fill of war for a good long time.

10. I'm starting to think these guys are stupid as well as crazy
Sounds like he thinks hezbollah is winning in Lebanon, instead of just cowering while Israel takes out its agression on civilians.
