Pat Leahy has made it clear that he pays no attention to outside pressure re nominations. And he means it. There's no way to pressure him. He was re-elected in 2004 with over 70% of the vote.

How can he represent people if they don't know what people want and you get that only from hearing from them. so I say BULLSHIT! AND CALL BULLSHIT TOO!

5. Half-assed reasoning
and inconsistant to boot. So you agree that Nelson of Neb who's constituents undoubtedly support Alito should vote (as he's going to do) for him? I don't ask that of Pat, and yes sometimes I disagree with him.
