Help! DU This Web Poll!
Edited on Tue Jan-17-06 09:00 PM by Triana
Harry Belafonte recently called President Bush the "greatest terrorist in the world" during a trip to visit Socialist Hugo Chavez in Venezuela. What do you think about Belafonte's visit to Duke earlier this week?

I don't have problem with it; he's a private citizen and is entitled to his opinion. 895 32%

I don't mind that he spoke at Duke, but he should not have been given a key to the city of Durham. 606 21%

He should not have been allowed to speak or get a key to the city until he apologized. 1059 38% <----!!!

Who cares? 264 9%

So that's 32 + 9 = 41% either in support of or indifferent to Belfonte, i.e. not interested in shutting him up (the second choice), unless an explicit interest in shutting Belfonte up is stated, it can be assumed that a response is at least not anti-thetical to Support Belfonte, it does not support the ones who want to punish this Individual for stepping forward, out of his place in line.
