A window into Chimpinistrative thinking:
"He understands that there was a history in which the Republican Party was seen as the active enemy of black voters in this country. It's one of the reasons why you have such lopsided Democratic majorities."

This is a SnowJob response to why Il Dunce bothered to address the NAACP - not to shore up non-existent minority support for embattled Republicans, oh my, heavens no.

But look at that statement - use of the word "lopsided," primarily - and you can see how unfair the current misadministration thinks it is that an entire group of voters might not like or want to vote for them. Why, it's not our fault, it's a historic thing, they whine to themselves. So naturally it's morally defensible to go around redressing the balance by disenfranchsing, misdirecting and otherwise hobbling black voters when elections roll around.

I think they really believe they're justified in doing this because, in their view, the reasons black people vote for Democrats has nothing to do with them, just unfortunate historic events.

Anyway, that's my 0.17 cents worth.
