Isn't that supposed to be the way it works? The outgoing president is titular head of the party? Yikes. Scary thought. Like I don't have enough scary thoughts these days!

3. In the old days the last nominee is the "titular head" of the party
which would mean that the '08 GOP nominee would be the head of the party. John Kerry is the Democratic titular head of the Democratic party.

4. God, but I hope so
not sure how to type out Taps on a keyboard, but if I could that would be the theme song for the GOP with Bush** in charge.

9. When Bush leaves office, his electrical monitor will be disconnected
....and the first generation cyborg unit known as George W Bush will shut down and be stored away in the closet. Then the second generation Schwarzenegger model will be brought out and tested, but in all likelihood be rejected. The Cheney cyborg model will be hot-wired and run until it shorts out.

12. When he's done they'll drop him like a bad habit.
Why would they want a bumbling, mush mouthed, know nothing moron like him running the party? His presidency is running the party into the ground just like everything else. I'm sure they'll be relieved once he's out of the picture.

17. I doubt it. Unless the GOP thinks they can get some more mileage
out of his name, I think they'll be through with him. They've gotten all they can get out of him already and with his approval rating as low as it is I expect they will be just as happy to see him retire to the pig farm in Crawford.

25. Nope. He'll drop out of sight and spend all that money he stole.

It's hard work thinking of ways to spend hundreds of millions of dollars in ill-gotten gains. And it's even more difficult when you're under the scrutiny of the public eye.

any time to devote to the re:puke:s. Also not sure the lines of commucations will be there to support that, considering where he is headed.
