The motion specifically named former Republican National Committee Chairman Ed Gillespie, former White House Political Director (and current RNC Chairman) Ken Mehlman, and former RNC Political Director Terry Nelson, now one of Republican Sen. John McCain (news, bio, voting record)'s top political "By allowing the discovery process to move forward, today's ruling brings us one step closer to finding out who knew what and when they knew it on the criminal scheme to disenfranchise New Hampshire voters," said DNC Communications Director Karen Finney. "It is time for the White House and the Republican National Committee to stop stonewalling on this crucial case and finally answer legitimate questions about which Republican officials were so eager to win elections that they willingly undermined the American people's fundamental right to vote.
