What is your preferred primary method of the following

1. Closed primaries. The Constitution says so. Duh.

or even political parties, for that matter?

I could go with either one of those. We either have a party system where party members select their candidate or we have a completely open election process. The last thing I want is anybody being able to vote in party primaries.
