I'm taking action in re: Gore's speech

I was so disgusted that the MSM, especially PBS, devoted little or no time to what I consider to be the most important speech of the century. Thanks to the link supplied by zapp, my husband was able to make several audio CDs of the speech. I'm distributing them today, giving each person two-one to listen to, one to pass on. Since most of my acquaintances aren't computer savvy (some don't even have computers!) I thought this was the best way. I've also made a copy of the 5 points of action that shraby kindly posted, and I'm going to work on it a bit to make it into a flyer to hand out and mail as a .doc file to folks I know who are very concerned about the wiretapping situation.

Any ideas of how to take it to the next level?

What about mailing copies of the CDs to your local television, radio, and newspapers. Include a note that since they seem to have missed one of the most important speeches in our current history, you've been doing some of their work for them and handing copies out to friends and family. Maybe even remind them of the original intent of the framers of the Constitution that the "free press" had an almost sacred duty to keep the populace informed as evidenced by their specific inclusion of "free press" in our Constitution.
