1. Bill Schneider was reportiing. Saying Dems who are thinking of running
for President (Kerry,et al) are cautious and not saying much. But here is AL--stepping into the vacuum of imcompetance (cult of cooruption he said for Repugs).

2. Dean is saying a lot. No one that is actually serving in congress is
saying much - except Senator Byrd. I haven't heard anything from Kucinich since the last election. I did catch Ms. Pelosi's talk today. She talked about energy independence in 10 years. Actually the way things are going, we probably will. There won't be any oil to be dependent on.

9. So is Wes Clark.
It's not that we don't have good spokespeople, it's that the media doesn't cover them. Or, when they do, they slice it to make the Dem in question sound like an idiot or a maniac.

11. you just hit it on the head . . .
. . . the game plan is to just play clips from Dem's speeches, out of context, to make them all seem like nutcases. They've been pulling this shit for forty years. And they're damned good at it. Thankfully they don't control the internet . . . yet.

12. What would happen though if they all said the same thing loud and
clear and over and over again? What about if they attacked the media everytime they media did lies?

What I thought was cute today - Pres Gore basically said turn off the TV - news on it is worthless. Didn't hear anything about that.
