I plan on flying the US Flag for the Fourth of July
I will not ever let them steal from me my love for my country. I despise the GOP but that is no reason to turn my back on America. Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of their country. America is in dire straights and needs us/me. Stand tall and be proud and fight for your country as if your life depended upon it for it does. Don't let the fake patriots (GOP) dictate how we behave. Fly our flag proudly...

4. WE LIVE HERE TOO!
and that is something I keep telling the hateful right wingers I run into. We live here, too, and they're just going to have to come to terms with that. We're not going to give up our flag, our religion, our country, our opinions, or our lives just because they love to hate. We're not going to go away just because they're full of hate.

Be who you are and throw the hate right back in their faces by identifying it for what it is.

5. You betcha!
Celebrating our independence from tyranny by raising the flag here. Plus it freaks out my fundy neighbor, he's reminded that it's MY country too. :patriot:

6. Just can't myself
Made a decision when * was selected (had a real bad feeling after the Florida vote issue) to not fly the flag and haven't since. Don't have a Stars & Stripes in any event but rather a historical version with "76" in the field. Might consider another historical Revolutionary War flag with "Don't Tread On Me".

7. I do, every single day...maybe upside down on the 4th as a special
gesture. I've been thinking about it. I would fly it upside down every day, except I live in Utah and don't want the negative consequences it would surely bring upon my household....(only females)

But the 4th of July this year, maybe.

Wish me luck!

8. I always fly the flag on my boat stern
It's just a given. We are better than Bush, and we will survive his regime and its diminution of us in the world's eye.

That's how I see the flag. It is something that is bigger and beyond Bush.

The Bush administration and the Republicans and the so-called "patriots" do not own the U.S. flag.
And when I fly it on my boat, I'm saying that this country will survive this abhorrent administration.

10. I as well
I use the coffin flag of my father. I's a big flag and has personal meaning to me beyond the significance of the day.

12. I'm also planning a moment of silence at noon...
To recall those who are no longer in the fight with us.
