The FIRST thing the democrats have to be prepared for after Nov 2008

I'm sure Cheney already has the next "al Qaida" attack on the United States planned for shortly after the election. Then the republicans will call the new president up for impeachment for failing to protect America.

It may sound crazy -- until you really think about it, and about who these fuckers are and what they've already done. I hope Howard and the dems are prepared. It's gonna happen. At least the attack part. How could Dr. Evil allow such a golden opportunity to pass?

Did any of you not actually understand what I was saying? I mean, y'all seemed to be able to point out that I had the date wrong, so it must have been pretty obvious to you that I was referring to 2008. Now, with date corrected...what about the post? Anyone expecting Cheney to fullfill his pre-Kerry promise that America will be attacked if democrats take control? And, actually, when you get right down to it, I could see basically the same scenerio happening if the dems simply take back control of Congress. Cheney will blame them for backing down on Bush tough policies and therefore weakening America. It would actually be a nice lead-in for them for the 2008 election, and provide an excuse for another amazingly improbable GOP "win."
