We should honor wingnuts who go to fight. We may disagree with them, but at least they aren't shooting their mouths off like the cowards back home.

We need to shame the wingnut chickenhawks. The enlistment age has been pushed to 42. There is nothing stopping many of them.

"if you like this war so much you go and fight it" should be our mantra.

4. Yes, it's 42 now. Big shortfall in recruiting last year.
Units are hurting for replacements but the freepers are not flocking to sign up?

I thought they were the super-patriot types and would already be in uniform.

There must be millions of them under 42.

Why do our troops have to suffer stop-loss when there are so many Bush-lovers out there?

7. I know I always say this
But, this should be our biggest issue...LOL.

No really though. They are all talk. And, at least half of them are under 42.

8. not flocking - gee, in 2004, how many millions voted for Bush
and factoring in the age factor, the sex factor (male/female, not yes/no, or same/opposite, dammit), and the physical capability factor, I would CONSERVATIVELY estimate that there should have been at least 15 million people eager to sign up and support this war by GOING THERE!!!

Of course, then the Repukes would be whining about how to pay all these new recruits . . . plus, it would solve unemployment, what with 15 million or more jobs opening up for the "people who want to work" . . . since they're all Republicans with jobs, ha ha ha . . .

9. They are cowards....

They hide behind their keyboards like the empty shills they are.

Now is the time to see their true colors.

6. I don't like to see any soldier die
This guy believed in what he was doing, and I respect that.

I can't respect those who shoot their mouths off from a comfortable arm chair.

5. That's horrible.
Not that the other 2500+ aren't as much, but this puts a face, even on film, to those numbers. Even though he seemed to be a sleazebag, stalking kids at the poor people's mall, telling them that famous rappers are marines, nobody should be dying for that. He was just doing his job in the film, and he died doing his job in Iraq. It's the job, and the position he was put in that's wrong. RIP.

11. And he donated a kidney
The war really is killing the best of us. Maybe I should send a sympathy card to his family.

13. Rest in peace,
I hope he finds truth, love and peace now; and that his children grow up without feeling compelled to repeat the tragedy in some other misguided war.

Donated a kidney to an uncle and that's why he was back in the States as a recruiter? Goes to show you that you never know until you walk a mile in someone else's shoes..
