So, did we get Zawahiri or not?

This story has changed more than I have changed my 5 month old over the last two days.

I hope we did get him. Yeah yeah yeah all the diplomatic thing but I mean that we (I) want to get him.

Anyway I hear that we might have got him. We thought we got him. Some bodies may have been moved. He may be in the area. He moved. What was the line about a million dollar missile for a 10 dollar tent? Some BS like that. Did we get him? ( towards 'results oriented' tough guy crowd). We obviously ( okay hopefully) had eyes on the ground there did we get him? Could there possibly be this kind of delay in chest thumping from the White House if we actually had got him? Did they really miscalculate poitically that bad? So it was ONLY a CIA operation now? Bad intelligence? Is there WiFi on the Pakistani/Afghan border?

1. The real question is how many times have we already gotten the #2.

I am waiting for Bush to literally turn into DR Evil.

2. If Bush is smart they won't announce it right away

and will listen in to the chatter in the meantime. However, like yourself, I don't think this administration can keep from crowing about it if they got him.

I sure hope we got him as well. This guy is certainly as dangerous as Bin Laden and I believe more so.

I'm waiting to see if he puts out a new video - he does it often so a long delay may be significant.

3. Trying to think when a video will be best for W

right before the midterms?

In the middle of summer (4th of July weekend?) so you won't forget about how scared you should be and how only W can keep you safe from the horrible things that happened ...erm...on W's watch....anyway what were we talking about?

4. On the news this morning, they were reporting that Zawahiri had

an invitation to have dinner at the site that was bombed, but he didn't show up. They didn't say how the CIA had gotten access to Zawahiri's social calendar, but I guess they expect us to believe this. Bad intelligence seems to be the standard excuse for this administration to use when they slaughter civilians. IMO it's a lack of intelligence that is to blame and George Bush is the poster child.
