All along the insurgents have been called "thuh turrurrists." Now they're freedom fighters who should get amnesty.

What a fuckin waste this "war" is and what a bunch of hypocrites Little Lord Pissypants and his regime are

1. Yeah, Republicans are CORRUPT, LYING CRIMINALS
They USED the American military as chess pieces in a game of LIES.Now, what ever happened to the "war" on terror. Evidentally that means lying to get Republicans re-elected.

Army running out of ammo, seeks bullets from foreigners

The U.S. Army said it will seek bullets from commercial and foreign producers because its biggest ammunition supplier, Alliant Techsystems Inc., can't keep up with demand.

"The hope is to get it from the U.S., but worldwide suppliers are out there that provide this and it might not be totally available in the U.S.," said Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Butler, Army product manager for small- and medium-caliber ammunition.

Edina, Minnesota-based Alliant Friday said demand is rising to its highest level since the Vietnam War.

To make up for the shortage, the Army recently awarded contracts to state-owned Israel Military Industries Ltd. and Olin Corp.'s Winchester unit, each for 70 million rounds, Butler said in a telephone interview. He said he couldn't disclose the value of the contracts.

5. Republicans planned on giving their evil terrorists a free pass, when
They started accusing and parroting Democrats as 'cut & run.'

Projecting their guilt on their opponents, it's the Republican way.

6. told ya so....

I mean, if that's the road you want to go down, then I guess I'll say "I told ya so" because I've maintained from the very beginning-- from day one of the invasion-- that Iraqis have the right and the duty to defend their country against an unprovoked, illegal invasion. I'm glad to see someone agrees with that.

Now that we've gotten that out of the way, let's try coming back to planet earth. Amnesty for the insurgents is absolutely necessary for brokering peace and eventually for bringing the insurgents back into a stable Iraqi society, whenever that happens. They might not be able to avoid a full blown civil war anyway, but if the Iraqi gov't were to seriously try to arrest and prosecute everyone who has taken up arms against the occupation then civil war would be assured. But don't worry, peace won't come soon. There will be many more opportunities to kill Iraqis in the coming months and years. Amnesty won't really make any difference until the occupation ends-- right now the Iraqis are just getting it onto the table to let the insurgents know that they envision a less violent future once the Americans are gone.

'Course you and I know that won't happen unless some seriously major regime change occurs in America. So I don't think you need to worry about having to stop killing Iraqis just yet.
