Here's W's Angry answer regarding spying on U.S. citizens
http://www.cnn.com/2006/POLITICS/06/26/bush.terroristfinancing.ap/

"Congress was briefed and what we did was fully authorized under the law," Bush said, talking with reporters in the Roosevelt Room after meeting with groups that support U.S. troops in Iraq.

"We're at war with a bunch of people who want to hurt the United States of America," the president said. "What we were doing was the right thing."

"The American people expect this government to protect our constitutional liberties and at the same time make sure we understand what the terrorists are trying to do," Bush said. He said that to figure out what terrorists plan to do, "You try to follow their money. And that's exactly what we're doing and the fact that a newspaper disclosed it makes it harder to win this war on terror."

------------------

He got REAL defensive and REAL loud and REAL red, and his inner child/monster was revealed again. Georgie's little imaginary friend is taking over completely now. Redrum.

5. I taking away our rights is a what is needed to win, we have lost...
Bush once said, “They hate our freedoms” and he is right, they do, but Bush and the Republicans that hide his dealings are working very hard to take those freedoms away. If they hate our freedoms, and Bush takes them away, Tey Win…

"You try to follow their money. And that's exactly what we're doing and the fact that a newspaper disclosed it makes it harder to win this war on terror."

BS. If you want to track the money, you might want to track your oil buddies in UAE and Saudi Arabia.

10. okaaayyyy...But "Briefing Congress" is still going around the law
that was written specifically about the spying. I don't trust these bastards one iota, and unless they're going to put it before a judge as the law requires I don't give a flying fig leaf which member of Congress they've arm-twisted!!!

I have to wonder if the "new technology" the makes FISA so outdated has to do with communication transfers. If there's any knowledgeable telecom/computer folks out there who could help explain it...Is it possible to route calls/communications through a foreign country from the US, particularly without the knowlege of the party? In other words, when they say 'only calls where one is from a foreign country' is it possible that they are in fact originated from the US but routed elsewhere so that the statement is "technically" accurate?

12. When he says the Congress was briefed....
How many exactly were briefed and how does that constitute saying The Congress instead of saying a few in Congress were briefed? Very misleading statement indeed....

13. But when Clinton proposed tracking the terrror money...
back in 1996, it was a terrible idea that the Republicans shot down repeatedly.

when Kerry tried to trace the criminals through BCCI, that was a bad thing too.

June 26, 2006, from CNN, Bush condemns disclosure of secret anti-terror program

"The American people expect this government to protect our constitutional liberties and at the same time make sure we understand what the terrorists are trying to do," Bush said. He said that to figure out what terrorists plan to do, "You try to follow their money. And that's exactly what we're doing and the fact that a newspaper disclosed it makes it harder to win this war on terror."

""The disclosure of this program is disgraceful," he said.

Make no mistake, all of this illegal spying and wiretapping is being used against political enemies. That's 99% of Americans and the rest of the world.

Another example of Bush speaking the truuth, and what he means.

He is telling these lap-dogs to FOLLOW THE MONEY. He couldn't BE any clearer in pointing the way to the exposure of Bushco, Halliburton, et al.
