Has anyone checked their bookmarks lately?
Most of my older ones are missing. Heads up to anyone if they're not aware of this, or am I the lone ranger?

:)..

seriously.. I am now afraid to look at mine.. I hope they are not gone too..

You can look for them on google using your name or the name of the poster is you remember.. sometimes that works:) I have found some goodies by googling my name+DU :)

Barring an Ukraine-style protest movement, we're STUCK with that smirking, strutting Chimp, for the next 4 years. So it's absolutely NECESSARY to know what we're up against --- and plan suitable measures with the means available. That's OUR Mandate.

(That’s your NIGHTMARE, DUmmie pnorman.)

I think he lost unfairly, but I can't prove it.

It's nice to know that people are listening to me, at any rate.

8. I'm betting you use
either Mozilla FF or Netscape. Happens to me all the time and drives me nuts. Explorer, which I despise, holds onto favorities really well. But it lets so much trash in through its security holes I can't use it.

9. Bingo! I have Firefox; you think that's why I lost all my
bookmarks, and not the upgrades that were done this weekend? This is the first time that ever happened to me. x(

to find them in? Does renaming the bookmark help?

but you will find discussions on google about it, I am certain.

I also lose mail on Firefox. I have found it again but can't get into it.

There used to be a button somewhere. Now, I don't see it. Thanks in advance. (I just bookmarked something a moment ago, so there has to be something in there.)

13. Well...
there is another feature I have never used and never knew was there. I always thought when people or even myself talked about bookmarks, they were talking about ones on their pc.

I just figured out how to italicize and bold my text this past week.

I am a dork.

23. Bummer, my bookmarks go back to 2003....
A real blast from the past looking at some of that stuff, but it appears I've lost some earlier things I thought I had collected from 2002. Maybe you can contact Admin for some help getting it sorted out.

31. There are several extensions for Firefox that will back up your...
bookmarks. Check out http://www.pikey.me.uk/mozilla/

Firefox lost all my bookmarks (a couple of years worth) a while back. It was very frustrating. I now back them all up.

33. try this ...
the Admins have separated GD bookmarks into two categories: those before 2006 and those during 2006 ... i'm able to scroll down on my older bookmarks page and find all my old GD bookmarks (before 2006) in a separate section ... try that ...

btw, the OP created confusion because it didn't specifically refer to DU bookmarks instead of just browser bookmarks ... this has led some to get into discussions of Firefox bookmarks and other browser issues which doesn't seem to be the intent of the OP ...
