Ran into a worker at a chain drugstore - Her factory job went to Canada
Edited on Wed Jun-21-06 02:03 AM by Bozita
She thought Canadians worked cheaper.

She had health insurance as a factory worker. Not so in the drugstore.

Told her that everybody in Canada has health coverage. It's all part of Canada's laws and regulations.

Government of, by, and for the people.

Oh Canada!

Told her that Canadians have a unionized workforce. Wages and bennies are HIGHER in Canada. The whole healthcare rhing gives Canadian industry an edge over US corporations.

1. Obviously, Canadians Are Healthier Than U.S. citizens.
The World Health Organization, Geneva, Switzerland
ranks Canada as 20th in health care for all its citizens.

U.S. - 37th.
(Is your $10,000 deductible 'for profit' health insurance policy,
essentially worthless?)
