These ads purport to be for us, they even went with the cartoonish "argument" to make it seem like this is some underground/grassroots movement to keep the internet from being destroyed, when in reality, they were made by the cable and phone companies.

I saw this ad and thought... wtf?

The reason why this is so upsetting is because they are trying to make it seem like a grassroots movement. It is amazing that they are advertising here in the first place. The only explanation is that they think we are too stupid to figure this out for ourselves. Lets show them.

Analogy:
A railroad has a monopoly. It is the only railroad. It says which farmers can ship their stuff out and sell it. We need to make sure that the trains allow everyone to trade stuff.

Otherwise AT&T could decide that they like Wal-Mart over Target. They then let Wal-Mart on their train, but not Target. So everyone at home can only shop at Wal-Mart.

Net Neutrality will make sure everyone can shop everywhere. So I support it.
