2. From "Cut&Run" to "Surrender"... but wait, doesn't surrender imply LOSING?

The repubs know they are losing this issue and the public is against them. They are going to try to goad and shame the American public into agreeing with them, but all they'll accomplish is making things worse for them in November.

They'll have to really work hard to flip 80% of the vote... oh wait, it's all done by computer... never mind America, you're screwed.

4. Honestly, I'm surprised it took them THIS long to pull out

the "S" word.

And it's BAD BAD news. Now they CAN'T pull out. Not without admitting to "Surrendering". You know they'll NEVER do that. Ever. Having uttered the term leaving Iraq is now political suicide for the pukes. It's like when Bush one compared Saddam to Hitler before the first Gulf War. Once he did that we were committed! No politician could allow his or her self to be seen as being "soft" on or negotiating with the "Hitler" of the nineties. Just like no politician can allow his or herself to be seen "surrendering". It's an incredibly emotionally charged word.

The admin has just painted itself into a very tight corner. Deliberately and both Iraq and the U.S. will be much the worse for it.

Anyone follow my logic here? Or am I off base?

edited for clarity.

3. I wish we can send some of Sen Frist's
draft age male relatives to Iraq, and then see his reactio then, or better yet let's use some of this man's skills as a doctor and treat some of the wounded sodliers in Iraq, or better yet let him treat some civilians in Baghdad's hospitals.
