You can imagine an opposition party that's based on popular interests and
ideas!

I want one of those!

How can get the Dems to buy into this idea?

1. There seems to be so much malaise today on so many sites
about the future of the Democratic Party. Like you, I can easily imagine the party that I wish existed. It would reject outcomes based on lobbying contributions. It would call for the political price to be paid by a President who illegally wiretaps citizens. It would Lead because of where the facts of any situation lead them and not FOLLOW the safe, political polled positions of a sometimes uninformed or under informed American public.

It would ensure that we had accurate, secure voting
It would take steps to ensure that AFFORDABLE health care is a basic American right as is SHELTER as is EDUCATION.
It would be strong abroad and not afraid to use military actions as a last resort.
It would promote sound environmental positions.
It would bring back the era of PUBLIC UTILITIES so that we don't continue to be raped and plundered by the Enrons of the world.

Imagine. It's easy if you try. Now if our leaders could only imagine.

2. It would be cool if the Dems fought for one of the ideas
that you posted.

Hang in there!

3. No one else knows either,
Actually, we can take over the party from the grassroots and refashion it into a populist steamroller of activism!
