I think 1994 scared the Be-Jesus out of the Democrats

They have yet to come to grips with why it happened. They are afraid to even burp for fear they will be thrown out on their butts. Don't they understand that it is because of such inaction plus the corruption that the American public became upset with them? If you don't stand for something you will fall for anything and that is exactly what has happened. Democrats need to get over 1994 and get with the program or there will be no Democrats. Just my $.02 worth.

1. Corruption is the name of the game.

Republicans are not the only politicians who take money from the big corporations. Unions are not strong enough to provide the support that candidates need to win elections. And the unions can be bought off. Here in California, Schwarzenegger has offered a huge bond measure that will produce money to pay for construction work. Union members are unlikely to complain about the ultimate cost to taxpayers including themselves because that bond will mean jobs -- including union jobs. Money dominates everything today. It decides who gets elected in most contests. That is the problem. As long as politicians have to raise millions to get a job that pays what politicians get paid there will be corruption.

2. The Democrats Will Never Get Over 1994. It Was The Beginning of the End

All they've been able to do since then is keep their heads down.

They are afraid to even burp for fear they will be thrown out on their butts.

Because that is what happens when they do.

Since 2001, the NSA has been monitoring them all. It's hard to win when your opponent knows every move
you make in advance, and harder still when they can release damaging information (real or fake) on you at any time.
