did your vote count in 2004, and this is in mayes county Ok which goes pretty much demo except the presidency, anyways I was happy to read this. this link is not to my paper as they are a little behind times but it is the same article.

By Stephen Dick
THE HERALD BULLETIN (ANDERSON, Ind.)

ANDERSON, Ind. — The Republican Party is all about limiting the amount of participation citizens take in their government. The policies of the current administration are so extreme and anti-American that their implementation is made possible only by severely curtailing or altering fundamental rights.

There’s a disturbing report in the current issue of Rolling Stone entitled, “Did Bush Steal the 2004 Election?” I know, there will be a lot of grumbling about conspiracy theories, the province of sore losers, and Democrats and the media have no interest in an investigation.

But evidence is mounting that powerful Republican operatives in several states did everything they could to ensure George W. Bush was returned to the White House when he should’ve been sent packing to Crawford.

1. Great lead-in sentence.
We need articles like that printed weekly,

in thousands of papers across the country, until the thick headed
public gets it

This editor is one of the few who sees the rusting spade, and actually calls it a rusting spade.
