When do we start building the Iraq War Memorial in Washington D.C.?
Do we have to have a certain number of deaths before we build one? Should the names of the tens of thousands of Iraqi people who have been killed in this "mistake" be included on this memorial?? What do you all think?

2. In about 30 years. They wait at least a couple of years after it's over.

4. Call it "The Freedom is on the March" memorial and put a brass statue
of Flightdeck Bush next to one of Thanksgiving (plastic) Turkey Bush and the immortal "Flying into the country with lights off and shades drawn" Hero Bush - don't worry about the body counts, that part's just a bummer.

Go for the Glory - be sure to include reels of Shock-n-Awe" footage and the toppling of Saddams statue on constant loop.....

Oh and toss in the gratuitous photos of those brought to "Justice" like Zarqawi and Saddam's sons.

Trust me - Bush'll LOVE the idea of a monument to him in his War PeznitGlory.
And add the following inscription:

I met a traveler from an antique land
Who said: "Two vast and trunkless legs of stone
Stand in the desert... Near them, on the sand,
Half sunk a shattered visage lies, whose frown,
And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,
Tell that its sculptor well those passions read
Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,
The hand that mocked them and the heart that fed;
And on the pedestal these words appear:
My name is BUSH (Ozymandius), King of Kings,
Look on my works, ye Mighty, and despair!
Nothing beside remains. Round the decay
Of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare
The lone and level sands stretch far away.

Ozymandius

7. Seattle's war memorial wall was finished prior to the Iraq invasion ...
It has the names of all the local people who died in the World Wars, Korea, Vietnam, etc. -- and they did not leave room for any future wars. I thought that was profoundly moving, in itself. (I know that they probably didn't decide "there won't be any more war dead" ... but how much sadder it would have been if they HAD left room.)
