I have NEVER seen a Woman make a COMPLETE ASS OF HERSELF on TV
until I saw the Coulterbeast on Leno.

She is a complete ASS.

She made jokes that no one laughed at,
She denied it when Jay said her book was nasty,
She denied it when Jay said her bitterness overshadowed whatever point she was trying to make
She denied that liberals aren't upset that she's calling them godless

Jay actually did a good job pointing out HOW SO FAR RIGHT SHE WAS, and instead of taking it,

She was a COMPLETE ASS.

I think he has become just another hollywood phony, so I don't watch much anymore. Anyway it's silly to get sick and worked up so close to bedtime. so after carlin's catholic bomb joke I thought I would be ready for the despicable one, but I wasn't, so I turned it off. I did hear her say something about liberal "friends" reading her book, how can that be possible?

I predicted on an earlier thread as Leno was doing his monalouge that there were alot of "IT" fans in the audience, and that he would kiss IT's" ass. "IT" has not been on my TV sceen for nearly a year now, it doesn't matter what program, I cringe enough just to learn second hand about whatever "IT" says .....it's not like any one of us are going to personally listen and learn anything different, honest, rational, or civilized......so FXXX IT!

31. She'll Never Do It
Just for the reason you state...while Coultergeist loves to stir it up, she picks where she can take her shots and not have to be held accountable. GE/NBC has provided its two most watched shows for her to freely promote her latest swill and got some soundbites out of it that the hate radio asshats are playing to make her sound like a victim of the "librul media". She's playing money right out of the freeper and wingnut pockets and the more over-the-top she goes the better this scam works. Getting indignation from the left also fuels into this game as she relishes all the PR that generates in the parallel universe.

Leno just let Coultergeist swill with an "aww shucks" approach and the audience was loaded with Annie's groupies. Stewart, and particularly his audience, wouldn't put up with the same shit. She needs both the latitude and the audience to make her shtick fly...when she's confronted she turns to jello and meltsdown. While its fun for us to watch, she sure doesn't want this when book sales are "so good".

At one point I think she might venture onto Colbert as I'm sure she thinks she can use him. Now there's your real interiew.

 Not to mention the mascot of the Democratic Party (equus asinus).

Trivia: 'Ass' is the correct term for the animal commonly know as the donkey, burro or jackstock. The term comes from the original Latin term, asinus. The scientific term for these animals is equus asinus. The term fell into disrepute through confusion with the indelicate term "arse" meaning the human backside.

32. It's titled "Ann Coulter Was Wrong"
By Cliff Kinkaid.

I guess I am shocked by a woman attacking other women who have lost their husbands, and banding together to find out why so it won't happen to others.

The article, by a conservative writer states Ann is 50'ish, childless, and never married talking about intimitate relationships between husbands of wives of 9/11, which she had no detail.

Conservatives should be ashamed she calls herself one of them, as should most American women. She's a disgrace to all.

46. Before crowning Kinkcaid with the decency crown,
read a few (of many) of his blasts from the past -

"His success will depend on concealing the facts about Dean's homosexual experiment -- and how he has used young people as sexual guinea pigs." <12/10/03>

"The problem with the Carlson show is the format, which places too much emphasis on his guests, including a regular named Rachel Maddow, a radio host on Air America who is described as the first out-of-the-closet lesbian to be named a Rhodes Scholar. She is a lesbian with hair so short that she looks like a man."

I think he's jealous that Annie has bigger balls than he dares to develop.

33. Give Up
I'm sorry I posted such an optimistic viewpoint earlier. I'm not feeling it anymore. Our efforts here and in the polls aren't doing anything; Bush is still in power, Rove is still around, and Republicans still dominate everything.

It probably makes you feel better to "decompress" after watching Ann on TV. She pissed you off, and you had to get it off your chest. But you're not doing anything but preaching to the choir. The audience cheered her like any other celebrity. Nobody sees through her hate.

We're outgunned, outnumbered, and outfinanced. A bunch of college students and ex-hippies who are fighting against high-powered corporate interests.

And are we really changing anything?

I had faith that Gore would win in 2000. He didn't. I had faith that Americans would see through the Patriot Act and other such measures. They didn't, and the Patriot Act is still law today. I had faith that Americans would elect someone that could really lead this country in 2004. They didn't.

We've been dealt loss after loss. What's the point anymore? Nothing we've done or said has stuck. When a political party has been dealt so many blows, it's a good indication that that party's on the wrong side of history.

We're finished. Might as well surrender and start voting Republican.

For the present moment, they just happen to be on the wrong side of politics.

When history remembers Roosevelt pulling this country out of the depression, the civil rights and women's movements, and the push toward tolerance and diversity, it will remember the Democrats.

you think the USA can rid itself of the bush regime?

Nations rarely defeat the corrupt ones that have overpowered it. It takes outside forces to effect regime change, just look at iraq.

Give up? No. But do what really? Scream at the people who do know what's going on and who know it's all wrong and who want to change?

You could at least stand and point at the creeps who've destroyed the USA.

Global Image of the U.S. Is Worsening, Survey Finds

By BRIAN KNOWLTON
Published: June 14, 2006

WASHINGTON, June 13 — As the war in Iraq continues for a fourth year, the global image of America has slipped further, even among people in some countries closely allied with the United States, a new opinion poll has found.

Favorable views of the United States dropped sharply over the past year in Spain, where only 23 percent said they had a positive opinion, down from 41 percent last year, according to the survey. It was done in 15 nations, including the United States, this spring by the Washington-based Pew Research Center.

Other countries where positive views dropped significantly include India (56 percent, down from 71 percent); Russia (43 percent, down from 52 percent); and Indonesia (30 percent, down from 38 percent). In Turkey, only 12 percent said they held a favorable opinion, down from 23 percent last year.

51. No. I feel the same despair as you do
but I will NOT give up. Just think - after September 11th, The Emperor had approximately 90% approval ratings. Now, he is down to the low 30s. It is not hopeless, we are not helpless. We are making progress and we will win the House in November.

Now - if we don't, that means the vote was rigged. That is the time for the grassroots to boycott, strike, protest. We must stand up for what some very brave men came up with over 200 years ago. There have been darker times in our history - the Civil War and the Depression, to name a few. We got through them. We will prevail - because they are doing what they do to enrich themselves and are hurting the masses, and the masses are waking up.

Please - don't give up.

Repugs have always been good at tying Democrats to their demons of the day, from the SDS and Black Panthers in the '60s to Michael Moore and MoveOn.org over the past few years. Why should we let them wiggle away in this case.

As far as I'm concerned, we should trumpet Annthrax everywhere as an exemplar of "pure" Republicanism -- and refuse to let them run away from her.
