I stood there stunned for a few moments. Then I went back inside and made two poster boards and taped them to the side windows, with arrows pointing toward the back: "LOOK! Republican Family Values On Display!"

I proudly drove around and completed all my daily errands. More than once I was met with thumbs up, applause and "rock on" comments.

book asking people to sign a petition to investigate the apparent WMD lies. I was so naive then. I didn't realize that a lot of the people in my neighborhood were bushbots. I could not believe that anyone was not outraged that the administration had lied. A few people let me have it. So I didn't do that again until after I was sent a few rightwing chain emails and I imported some courage from fellow DUers. So over the past couple of years I have had a couple of email debates. But I gave up because there is no way that you can change these peoples minds. You just end up pissing each other off. It is a very tense situation. My son is very active in little league, and a travel baseball league. And the people we associate with in his sports activities are all freepers. White middle and upper middle class freepers.

Anyway, yesterday we had try-outs for the upcoming little league season. I am an intuitive person. I could sense anger and hatefulness coming from alot of people. I live in Duke Cunningham's district. The climate between the right and the left is very chilly. It is worse now than even before the election. If,(oh please, oh please, oh please) there are ever impeachment proceedings, I probably will be banned from the league.

45. I park in a County Government garage for employees.

One day last December, a day we were having a snow storm.....I got in a little later than usual that morning and parked on the 2nd level instead of ground level and near the elevator. When I got off work and approached my Ford Explorer, I fortunately noticed my back tire was flat as the air let out of it. Now these are big tires and I only had them 2 months! I was able to get to a service station and add air. It was a terrible thing to do in a dangerous downtown 1/2 block away from the County Jail.

By the way, my tires all remain unchanged since then thus it was not a "rare air leak"....but sabotage. You see, I have my Code Pink Stickers on side back windows and my DU sticker on the back door.

I too have a 'Impeach Bush' poster in my rear window. I just put it there and have not, as of yet, had any anonomous reactions. What I have had is silent responses to another task. I go to the local Comm. Col. a nd had printed out a pile of the same 'Impeach Bush' posters. they are very striking! A DU poster had them on her site and I made the time and effort to print and distribute them. After I hung a number one day, I went around and some that I hung were not up in one building. They are excercising THEIR free speech by not allowing me MINE. I put more up and am waiting to go back to that building and see who is winning the battle of the poster. Not to worry, there is an endless supply of copy paper in the computer center so it won't be me that loses! Damn, if we could get the teens and 20 somethings on our side, it would be so nice.
