You heard it here first (I think): Afghanistan and Iraq are not a WIN
but a huge loss for the US as destablization and sect fighting and anarchy spread throughout the region, not to mention that NOT paying attention to what Israel is doing to the Palestinians is going blow the war on terrorism wide open in a few months and no one will be safe in the ME. Either the US is going to have to level the entire region (impossible and certainly not desireable) or we will be coming home with our tails dragging and claiming a hollow victory and coming up with all kinds of spin as to why our evil deeds were worth it.

3. and when you get to thinkin'
Russia left Afghanistan with their tails tucked after a twenty year effort there. we all know what happened to Russia after that.

America will never be the same, but perhaps this defeat will put us on a way less arrogant path.

6. Probably not.
They need to get "run out of town on a rail" - "tar and feathered"

If they don't, we are all in deep doodoo.

I don't think they'd be so high on war if they ever fought one.

It makes them dangerous. They have no idea what they are talking about, you know?? But they sure send kids to die in one.

7. When we pull out, the people in the ME are
going to be the ones who really suffer. Not that we have any choice in this whatsoever.
