'I've always been a huge fan of Mr. Coulter's. How can you not love someone who calls for the bombing of newspapers, demands the conversion of non-Christians by the sword, and mocks the grieving of Cindy Sheehan for her son and the 911 widows for their husbands. Coulter's popularity is the ultimate proof that America has rejected the old, compassionate, French-minded Jesus of the Beatitudes and adopted the Jesus of Our Leader, a savior who isn't afraid to kick butt and slay nations, a redeemer who despises the weak and belittles the grieving.

The logic Coulter employs in "Godless" is impeccable. Liberals, she proclaims, detest science. They ignore the empirically observable truth that God fashioned Eve from Adam's rib while they promote superstitious Darwinism. They deny the science supporting the use of adult stem cells to cure disease because "Liberals just want to kill humans." How can you argue with that?"

But I wonder - those moran repubs just don't get it - the humor, the irony, how they are being made out the fools and ignoramuses they are!!

I really don't think most of the 1,579 people that voted this as 'most helpful'were Coulter-haters--do you???

Help me out with this, its cracking me up and I am just amazed at the # of votes Jesus General got on his review.

I mean do rwers see the 5 stars, the words 'Republican Jesus wins out' and vote up the review --they're not even reading it.

I did a search, and tried to find it, but amazon must have deleted

I've posted a few dozen reviews, but Amazon deleted most of them. One of my favorites was the one where I panned the creationist text "Of Pandas and People" because it didn't condemn the Bonobo's immorality (Bonobos, sometimes called pigmy chimpanzees, use sex to settle differences).

I enjoy doing this stuff and I get a real kick out of hearing that others like what I do.

They're onto my reviews. The one I did on Kate O'Bierne's book caused a major scandal. Katherine Jean Lopez trashed it at NRO and the wingnuts went nuts. After that, I've had to trade a bunch of emails with Amazon before they'll post my reviews. Then, they eventually delete them when the publisher tells them to.

'tis a shame they deleted the others.

I actually used to be in a band called the Bonobos, and (not for that reason only) I love your "Pandas and People" review. We in the band used to often wonder what Congress would be like if they settled their differences in the same way our genetically-closest primate relatives do. Although some of the ensuing speculative images were indeed somewhat horrific, we all thought it would be a good bet that CSPAN's ratings would go up. (Or would they?)

Coulter does not really buy the drivel she spews. Shes your common troll who's outrageousness gets her the attention she craves . Apparently her childhood had a missing father figure and now she overcompensates by blasting away at people like the Big Dog accusing him of all sorts of disproven inhumanity. I am giving her exactly what she yearns for by writing this paragraph. A pulpit to stand on and sell her hate to other haters. We should all whip up some reviews for Ann the Man's latest piece of fiction. I wrote a review of that lovely little pulp fiction novel "Marketing of Evil" awhile ago, an exerpt of which was later cited by worldnetdaily. I was proud to know that I was partially the source for a right-wing hissy fit. :)

11. What I found most interesting

in reading the reviews were the most recent ones. There were no supportive reviews for the first page, and possibly two pages-and there were a couple of reviews by people who say they are conservatives who have read the book-and they are saying that Ccreature doesn't represent them.

"The best thing about Ann Coulter is that she's a walking example of the superior conservative mindset.

She's a great supporter of the glorious Iraq occupation, though she's so modest that I've never once heard her brag about her own, undoubtedly heroic, combat experiences in Iraq. "And answer ne this, why do we never see "Full House" star Dave Coulier and Ann Coulter in the same room? It is because they are the same person? Everyone knows Coulier is the Canadian bastardization of the surname Coulter. But coincidentally this book just "happens" to skirt that topic. How very convenient.

Let's get something straight folks, Coulter plays the American public like some kind of fiddle player with touchable blond locks and legs so skinny that you think she may be a marionette ... but if that's true ... where are the strings? Where are the strings?

I met Ann at a speech at the University of Arizona a few years ago and we really hit it off -- we talked for what seemed like many minutes, but was actually only two minutes. I asked her, "Ann, are people who call you 'mean' crazy?" She giggled softly and then said, "what do you think?" as she put out her cigarette on my forehead."

WOW! Funny. I think that dumb "harpie" finally crossed a line that people shouldn't cross and find unacceptable when they do. I commented on the fact that even though the "book" was only published June 6th, on June 11th there were 47 copies already available in "new & used from 14.98."

15. FOR A GREAT TIME read the reviews - some real gems there

such as:

I needed something to clean the toilet with and there was a copy of this thing laying out in the gutter, so I snagged it and tore pages out of it to clean the inside of the bowl.

AND

I actually read this book. I used to be a democrat until I saw how much more interesting life could be if I snorted kool-aid each morning as though I were a coke junkie. All of a sudden rational thought can go by the wayside. Why worry about facts?

The book GODLESS is a witty document that chronicles the crack-up of liberal America. Ann Coulter hits many 'raw nerves' or 'third rails' here, noting that America's liberals are led by a pristhood that is at least as intolerant and illogical as they accuse traditional religionists of being.

To wit:
In GODLESS, Coulter documents the idiological bias that permeates the government run public school system. She notes that the curriculum is dumbed down and slanted to promote homosexuality, abortion, and socialism. She also cites statistics revealing that the public schools have far more pedophiles in control and authority that the Roman Catholic Church ever did. The sexual predation of children in public schools, Coulter establishes, is one of the bigggest liberal cover ops in America.

The Media are promoting a virulent anti-American and sexually perverse world view, Coulter asserts. Because they have no 'god', liberals have made sex (sexual perversion) and depraved materialism (decadence) their gods.

According to GODLESS, liberals have taken the long march through education, media, government, and other institutions, and now run America as a theocracy. Questionins their abolute claims to authority is politiclaly incorrect, and anyone who dares to openly challenge liberal hegemony is called a "racist", "sexist", "bigot", or some other vile names, ruthlessly persecuted by the media, and blacklisted by every liberal institution (media, government, education, etc.).


The reactions to GODLESS here portend a severe decline for Amazon.com:

The liberals who run Amazon.com, and who seem to be the majority of Amazon.com customers have chosen to engage in one of their smear and hate campaigns in their postings. That is their right, but conservatives will shop elsewhere in the future. Since conservatives constitute about 60% of voters in America, the sales and profit impact on Amazon.com will be devastating for the company. Amaazon might not remain profitable, and begin to contract during late 2006.



Since when is 60% of America conservative? And who do you really think READS more books? Liberals or conservatives?

Better buy up quick because this guy and his posse are going to put Amazon out of business.

Mrs. O'Beirne avoids the most dangerous feminist myth of all, January 10, 2006
I found many truths in Mrs. O'Beirne's book, truths so self-evident that I have to wonder why no one has stated them until now. For instance, how could anyone argue with her assertion that feminists exploit female war casualties to "advance the feminist agenda of androgyny and abortion." Even I have to admit that every time I hear that another woman has been sacrificed in our glorious Iraq adventure, I'm tempted to tell my wife, Ofjoshua, to throw on a pair of jeans, head for the nearest women's health clinic, and help them slaughter a whole passel of blastocyst-Americans.

But I think it's her frequent attacks against the television show, "Sex in the City," that I value most about this book. By promoting the myth that women should enjoy sex, that show has done more to destroy the institution of marriage than even homosexual unions. I think most men will agree with me when I say that there isn't a woman alive who isn't thoroughly repulsed by sex. Telling them that it should be a pleasant experience rather than a vomit-inducing one only serves to cause them to resent their husbands when the impossible isn't delivered. Hopefully, this book will help destroy that myth ....

He didn't blame Clinton enough, April 8, 2005
Bryon York is a manly author. His books bring me as much enjoyment as a six-pack of Keystone, a carton of Lucky Strikes, and a weekend of NASCAR on the Tee Vee.

That said, this book isn't very good. He doesn't blame enough things on Clinton. That's simply unforgivable.

Now, I can understand why the tsunami isn't mentioned--it's too recent--but surely, he could have noted the part the Clenis played in the murder of Lacey Peterson.
