Should we call for an independent prosecutor re: election fraud?...
and here's the kicker that would stop Republicans in their tracks... in calling for this prosecutor, we be magnanimous and say the prosecutor will fully pursue and prosecute leads of fraud submitted to it from both sides of the aisle!

This could be our opportunity to prove our contentions of fraud have far more weight, while looking nonpartisan and pro-country in our desire to eliminate "all fraud, no matter where it originates".

Could this approach work?

1. At least it's something, dammit!
And it's more than fair. A very good idea. Let the chips fall where they may. And hope we'd get a non-partisan prosecutor.

4. Is it possible to do that through the state?
Edited on Sat Jun-10-06 11:59 PM by Tiggeroshii
...for example, the California State legislature to appoint some kind of independent prosecutor for that purpose in investigating I dunno.. the Secretary of State McPherson?

5. get rid of diebold
As it is there is no way to control the diebold machines and ever if there were more fraud , there will probably be , and there is no way to prove this .

We have to fight this and get them out , it is privatized and in my opinion illegal .

6. I have my doubts it would work!
While it would be a step in the right direction, the beaurocracy would make sure there would be no conclusive findings. Lets just say that its a safe bet the shredding machines would be running 24/7 (as if they aren't already). Look at the Jefferson investigation (which has sort of fallen off the national radar). Where is the outrage, even if you are a Democrat? The whole 45 day freeze is to make sure that the other Congressmen involved are able to do some house cleaning. The final part of the whole "checks and balances" system, i.e. the public, still seems to be in an apathetic malaise right now. Damn, Jimmy Carter was right. You can be angry, upset, or have conviction about something...

What did Republicans promise during the 2004 campaign? Election reform. Oops, forgot about that... forgot about a lot of things, didn't we?

7. well . . . one of the great mysteries of 21st century US politics is . . .
why has the Democratic Party done essentially NOTHING regarding election fraud -- and the rigged voting system under which our elections are STILL being held? . . .

try as I might, I just can't figure it out . . . can't even formulate a reasonable hypothesis . . . I mean, the elections were stolen BY Republicans . . . and the system is controlled and stacked FOR Republicans . . . you'd think it would be in the Democrats' own best interest to make this a MAJOR issue -- particularly since the publication of the RFK Jr. article in Rolling Stone . . .

but the silence is deafening . . . you'd almost think that they PREFER losing elections . . .

but that can't be possible . . . can it? . . .
