"Tell me lies...tell me sweet little lies..."
Just keep 'em coming boys! We really eat that shit up! But why should you stop now? Why should we expect you to tell us the truth about Zarqawi when you have not told us the truth about anything for the last five and 1/2 years? Saddam was killed four or five times before we finally captured him. Yes, we dropped 2 five-hundred lb bombs on the house Zarqawi was in, we were told at first. Now, we are told he was captured by Americans alive and turned over to the Iraqis but he died on the gurney a "short time later". Tell us more lies, you sorry mother fuckers! We deserve it! No prison is good enough for you sorry son of a bitches! (end of rant)

1. Head on a platter
Edited on Fri Jun-09-06 10:08 AM by WhereThereIsFire
My initial thought when I saw the photo of Zarqawi dead was of the sculpture of the head of John the Baptist on a platter in the Musee Louvre in Paris ... striking similarity. My thought has always been that Saddam was captured long before the "photo op" and the "ace" was pulled out of the hole at a strategically advantageous moment. I see no reason to think this recent kill/capture was anything different. The soldiers in the bombers probably dropped them in good faith ... but I'd bet Zarqawi was dragged in AFTERWARDS by a ground unit of some sort. They certainly wanted to assure he was not mutilated beyond all recognition. The seats had been getting really hot for Dirty Dick and Rotten Rummy, so they had to come up with something to divert the media and possibly again mislead the American public. Get their eye off the ball, puhleeeeeezzzz.

And isn't it convenient they are saying that THIS death will lower the cost of oil!!!!???? Media heads had recently discussed that the only thing that could improve booooshie's numbers and repugnants chances in 2006 elections would be lowering the cost of gasoline. This gives the oilmen boooshie buddies a good "excuse" to lower them for a reason and then accelerate them upwards after the elections. Great timing Rover ... guess his bark is still being responded too by the "planners" in charge of the exec.

:dem:

3. and the military said
there was a woman and a child in the building WITH him- now they say there wasn't-

"Wolf"!!!! "Wolf"!!!!!

When you lie, you lose your credibility- and everything you say becomes suspect- They brought this on themselves.-

I got a LONG lecture about crying "help-" and pretending to drown at our local swimming hole when I was just a sprout- My father was FURIOUS- and explained to me very effectivly why telling the truth, was something we do for our OWN good- Telling lies, ALWAYS hurts the liar- and often hurts many un-intended victims.

The government, has absolutely zero credibility- and it will prove to be THEIR loss in the end-

4. And C-Span had someone from Atlantic Monthly Mag saying he was a
pervert and a rapist. Into all kinds of kinky stuff...a thug, a juvenile delinquent. And, suddenly there were reports of womens clothing found in the rubble with allusions to him being a cross dresser.

Seemed to me the woman from the Atlantic Monthly had her article very nicely researched and ready to go a such a convenient time.... hmmmm.

I always remember that Bush mentioned "Rape Pits" frequently in his speeches the year after we invaded. These Repugs are known for projecting their own evilness onto others...even if they have to invent others to project on.

5. there is
an awful lot of repressed sexual anger with the conservitive mindset-

And isn't there some famous quote about the actions we project onto our 'enemies' are usually the worst thoughts that live not outside of 'us' but from somewhere deep with-in us?

I know, when I started thinking of ways that 'terrorists' could so easily 'harm' people in this country, or in any country- i was appalled at the kinds of things my mind could concieve of- things that made me really ...ashamed of the depth of depravity... that my own thoughts could come up with-

But, I have to say, I do believe much of what we 'fear' in 'them' is really things that 'we' have either considered, or in some cases actually done- I don't have much faith in the 'nobility' of America any more- Learning of some of our 'secret operations' and what we consider 'justifiable' has blown away my 'innocence'.- or 'naievity'-
